We are pleased to announce this year’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summer School for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. The summer school is hosted by the Computational and Data Science degree program at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It will take place from August 31 - September 4 at Konrad-Martin-Haus in Bad Kösen, Germany. The program is designed for students who are interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about on-device AI and its use in scientific research.

Open to: Bachelor’s and Master’s students enrolled at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. A limited number of slots is available to accommodate students of Technische Universität Ilmenau and students enrolled at other German universities.

  • One week of lectures, tutorials and hackathons.
  • Poster sessions where attendees present cutting-edge AI research.
  • Interactive activities and group work.

Costs: Housing and meals will be covered for all accepted students. Travel-related costs have to be covered by the participants (about 20€ from Jena by train).
